Shil and I bailed on the rain and headed north.  We are currently in Cranberry, PA, where it is dry.

Thanks go out to SLK50 for dinner on Thursday, and a great route down on Friday!!

The company house at Cass was in deed splendid.  I can not recommend it enough!!  STN should
take over the town!

750 miles since Thursday morning.  Life is good.

Well, you guys sure missed a fine day of rain riding.  Lol  Tammy, Rue & I did  a 236 mile loop, including a long lunch stop at the "Hutte" in Helvetia and about 20 miles worth of muddy, rock strewn forest roads.

Made it home at 4pm. Mother Nature avenged missing me yesterday: I got nailed by a storm cell in Mt Solon this morning. Five minutes of heavy rain, then things started to clear up as worked my way north. Rest of the day was mostly sunny and dry. Had good runs on 250, 33 and Smoke Hole Rd. Video to follow (eventually).

I had a great time this weekend. Thanks to all who showed up, and an especially big thanks to MrsCableBandit for organizing it.

Made it home safe and sound. Fortunately no rain but not much sun at all, until right now. Thanks to the hostess and it was great to meet those that attended.

Home with just under 1100 miles.

What were those big yellow, bleached out Monarch-lookin' butterflies?

They sure make a mess when you hit 'em!

Mrs CB and I got home a little after 4pm.  We had a great ride home today using all two lane roads.  I powerwashed the bike before doing anything since all my locks were filled with crud.

Now it's time to make some dinner.

We just rolled in safe and sound. Sorry we missed you guys at the Dolly Sod's cut off, we turned around but didn't see where you went. I hope you didn't wait around and worry too much. Another great STN event!

Best quote of the weekend!

And finally, I met someone living in Columbus (other than my cousin) that I actually like.   Lol

I think that was Joe's towel that he loaned to Mr Black. No idea on the bowl, but it's probably his too. He was the last one to pack down there.

Jim

Thanks again for the tea, and thanks to Joe for making it a hot toddy... I'm pretty sure I was was ..this.. Close to hypothermia after that ride...
