Truth is, we fully expected to swing by, but the meet central was miles away, and in the dark.

Bugging out of the rain worked out better in the long run, but it is nice to be missed!

Incidentally, Shil's brother was also checked into the big house in Cass!!

Truth be known, we saw your bikes when we rode by, but weather was too iffy to justify a stop.

I kept going hoping to be able to ride out ahead of it.  That didn't work.  Didn't mean to be unsociable.

We'd been better off stopping for a brew, even though we were on our way to breakfast!

Liz, it was great to hang + ride with you guys. Been wanting to meet the Frenchman for quite a while.

we'll have to all get together again sometime, maybe see ya's in a few weeks if you all are going to Knoebels.

Glad to hear you all had a good time, even though it was a little wet.  i was considering coming to this meet, but i just have too much going on.

We are planning a weekend in WV with a small group (maybe 6-12 people) and we are considering staying at the Boyer Station Motel for a couple nights in September.  I was wondering if you found the place to be a nice experience.  were the staff nice, rooms clean, good restaurants nearby, stuff like that.  

don't mean to highjack, but i didn't think it was worthy of it's own thread.  pm me info if you prefer.

This was my 2nd STN event and my first time to West Virginia on my bike.  All I can say is "wow".  I had a blast riding those roads,  even in the rain!!!  Ed (MXVET57) joined our group for Saturday's ride.  Nice guy that rode a long way to get to Boyer.

Special thanks to:

- Mrs CB for organizing the event.

- The guy on the green Triumph for allowing my beer in his cooler.

- Garry for creating a nice route for our way home on Sunday.  Wish we could have followed it all the way,  but we would have run out of daylight.

- Last but not least, Cole and MCGMB for joining me on this adventure.

Every time I click on the "new replies" button on this thread it takes me to page 101.... probably needs reindexed on the server or something.

Same here IE8 and IE9 on Windows, Safari and Chrome on Mac and I think the same thing happened in Safari on iOS but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
