As I opened my calendar to schedule this grub fest and camp out, I see that I already have an MSF class scheduled for that for that weekend. Sorry to miss this one.

2 M/C trips in one year?

Hmmm. I need more vacation time.

This time, remember the ferris crossing in Marine City, south of Sarnia.
A very nice, kinda short, but very nice crossing.

I would definitely do that. I have limited time off on the w/e and the W. VA. trip is taking one whole one. Probably not possible.

I'll do my damnedest to make it.  Calendar looks clear and I'm emailing the scheduler/wife so it's in her calendar (hers is paper, mind you) as well.  Hopefully I'll already be in Michigan - would rather ride to South Haven afterwards than all the way back to the north side of Chicago...

Should be on time this year baring any flat tire issues.

Oh yeeeaaaaaa......... the uuuuuhhhhhhh................." flat/low tire"................ yeeaaa............ let's see that happen in the visitors center........ yeeeaaaa.......... on a tire that had only 3000 miles on it yeeaaaaaa......... I seem to recall that issue yeeaaaaa........ it played out some like this:

HHHmmmmmmm.... my tire wear pattern seems odd - squeeze squeeze, Hmmmm it's low alright, I better put it up on the center stand and get a closer look............... spin spin spin............... uh what's that little silver looking thing there in the tread......... Huuuughghghg --- toooooo........ bubble bubble........... yeeaaaa it's leaking.

Plug kit - check...
Air compressor - check...
I need to pull that nail out of the tire.... anyone have a pliers
Ed: I have an ignition switch
Me: no, I need a pliers, keep looking...
Ed: I have a stator...
Me: no, I need a pliers, keep looking...
Ed: I have a tire pressure gage...
Me: Keep that handy, we'll need that in a little while...
Me: I need the pliers first, keep looking
Ed:Here's that master link I've been looking for for the EX500...
Me:I need a pliers, keep looking...
Ed: Laughing out loud, how about an egg salad sandwich...
Me: The pliers I need are probably under it, keep looking...
Ed:Here they are are just like you thought...
Me: Thanks Ed...
Me: I need to pull that out nail
poke squeeze pull.... psssssssssssssssssssssssss
Ed: Hey, I found a nail in my tank bag...
Me: No thanks, I've got one already, the pliers will do - thanks...
poke twist push turn turn turn plug installed...pump pump pump bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzstill-pumpingzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Check pressure - psss...psss...psss.  perfect
Me: Thanks Ed.

Also a special mention to the entire crew that helped, Jim for the compressor and plug, Ben for supervising and and providing commentary about the surrounding area.

Ooooohhhhhhhhh yeeaaaa this didn't happen at turn 69 on the Dragon on a tire that had 11000 miles on the center of the tire and only 500 miles on the chicken strips thinking that everthing will be ok because I'm not using the center of the tire while riding on the Dragon...

We all still had fun , we all made it home safe................ The memories - priceless    ...it's all good  Bigok Bigok Bigok Lol Lol
