For the record- you're all welcome on the Lubbers's compound.  I have a nice firepit. Thumbsup  If you're church folk my family will be hitting ours around 9:30 Sunday morning and you're welcome to join us.  If not, no big deal!  The house and barn will be open for all needs.  Thumbsup

By the way- I'd be remiss if I didn't encourage you to hit one of the glorious west side Lake Michigan beaches if the weather is good.  I can give directions to the free ones (non state parks) Saturday.

This morning I found out we will be having a community service in the park that Sunday morning if'n anybody is interested.  Bring your own chairs.  We'll be heading there.  Thumbsup

5 1/2 dozen chocolate-chocolate chip maple bacon cookies bound for Michigan in the morning! Just a reminder, CLAY, that it's a federal offense to open mail addressed to someone else!  Razz

I'll do my best.  Seal them so the scent does not escape- that would be the downfall.   Bigok

For those staying till Sunday- the Gilmore Antique Motorcycle Show (http://www.gilmorecarmuseum.org/html/events_details.php?event_id=7&nav_id=5) is only about 45 miles away and a great place.  It's way cool!   Thumbsup  I might go check it out myself.

Yep, this is definitely a "don't miss" event.
The museum alone is awesome: cool cars, cool grounds, cool barns, cool people.... Then you throw in a bunch of cool motorcycles and Triumph demos to ride  Thumbsup

Clay, we're planning on taking you up on camping at your place. Nate and Maggie, are you going to as well then? Stuff like this is why STN is great. Thumbsup

Jeff

Jeff, you still in?  I think what Jadzia said is it- camping at Woodchip on Friday night, Clay's on Saturday.  Probably go hit the beach on Saturday morning?

I got stuff for dark chocolate smores and brats/burgers/breakfast stuff for a ton 'o people.

Edit- might also stop at a beach campground on the way up to make it a shorter drive for the kiddo.  Shows how good we think stuff through.  Thumbsup

Our plan is to drive from home to Clay's on Saturday. We'll camp there Saturday night. If we can get up by then, we'll go to church with the Lubber family. Then we'll head home, and most likely stop at the public beach in New Buffalo on the way home. Nate, Maggie and everyone else headed that way, if you're inclined to stop at a beach to play for a bit, that's a pretty good one.

Clay, what denomination are you (if I may ask without starting a religion shitstorm.) Lol

 Lol

Christian Reformed is my "brand", but "Protestant" would be my branch, I suppose.  My church is part of the community service in the park on Sunday morning, and that will be more general Protestant I would guess.
