Where did they test the bike where they could get it to 151mph?

Seeing the lack of wind protection, that is going to take some doing, both from holding on and getting up to max speed.

Anywhere there was a 1/2 mile straight. Smile

That tells me on the Dyno.

Dynos do not take wind resistance into account so if that was how they did it, it would be waay off.

True.  They should have listed it as an estimate top speed if they didn't actually perform it.

MCN UK lists a top speed of 135mph.

That is far more believable.

Which means that if MCN is printing this performance data as fact, which is BS, then so much for the rest of their credibility.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Aprilia is a tremendous bike.
I just think that MCN USA is way overrated.

I'd like to ride this back to back to back with the Street Triple R and Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP.  I think the Aprilia would feel heavier at a stand-still; however I'm interested in contrasting the differences in riding dynamics.
