The Calgary Sledge Hockey Association is hosting the 8th annual Western Canada Sledge Hockey Tournament this year. (March 2-4) Teams from Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and even Alaska will be playing. Divisions range from "A"- which include past (and future) members of the National team, all the way down to 5 year old kids just having fun.

I am coaching two of the three Calgary teams competing, and I really want to do what I can to make it a successful event. My first goal is to spread the word and try and get people to come watch. My second goal is to get people involved. I am asking if anyone would want to help out with raffle donations, talk to their boss about corporate sponsorship ( tax deductable), or even just volunteer their time at the event. If anyone is interested, I can send you a letter from our Chair outlining sponsorship options.

All I can offer is to share it on Facebook through a few accounts. We associate with a charity in Ontario that offers sledge hockey to disabled clients and it's a growing demand activity. Good luck.

I can't help you out through our company, but I can suggest many possible willing corporate sponsors in Calgary with very large pockets. You may have to do some door knocking however.

That would be great Sir!!  Any exposure we can get will help.  They have a facebook page.  "Western Canada Sledge Hockey Tournament"
