I'm selling an almost new Apple Iphone 4 - 16GB. It does not have a scratch on it and comes with all the original plugs, earphones and cords (that have never been taken out of the box). For some reason that I cannot figure out the microphone will not work. The speaker works fine as do all the functions. To make this more confusing when paired to a Bluetooth device (earpiece, GPS, whatever) it works PERFECTLY. I've upgraded it to the newest OS but nothing seems to matter. I use Android for my business, and this was just sitting in a box on my desk so I've decided to sell it. As I said before - all the functions of the phone work perfectly - just not the microphone.

My son's new, on warranty, Iphone had no sound from the ear speaker when telephoning. Handsfree and music worked fine.

Took to apple store, hand me another new phone, walk out.

A non-working component is a major issue.  I'm surprised it was never noticed, but I'm guessing you never activated the phone with a carrier or fiddled with it.

I doubt anyone would offer $300 for something that can't pickup sound.

Theyre all over CL around me in great shape and working for around thar price, so you are best off to take it to Apple and get it fixed for the sale, or cut the price in half.

We have many Apple products in the household and the very few problems we've had have all been covered by Apple for free, even a couple of items that were out of warranty.

It's broke and the new owner will have to sign a contract to activate it. Might be worth $100 just for parts when they drop theirs and need the screen. Looks like it might be your paper weight while your head is in the clouds.
