Major "Yikes" at 1:54
Nice road, but your buddy in the front of you needs "the talk".

No kidding. The continual crossing of the double yellow results in sloppy riding. Be disciplined and stay w/in your lane. Less chance of messing up and having a head on.
But (!) thanks for posting. I drove it a couple o times in my Jeep and thought it would be fun on a sporty bike. Fun hangout at the end. AZ really is great for Jeeps though, cuz there are trails everywhere.

When did they pave the Apache Trail? I used to ride it all the time in mid 80's on my XL500R. Haven't been back since '89 or so.

It's dirt after Tortilla Flats. The pavement ends at the store/restaurant/bar

NEGATIVE. It is paved for a few miles past the bar. This is the best section for some speedy passes without much traffic. The section before the bar is pretty beat up now.

Ah, I remember that road.
Am I the only one who, while watching vids like these, finds themself leaning their upper body and head to sight up the road?

I remember when Apache Junction was all dirt and it seemed like a long drive from Mesa.
