I just posted an item for sale over in the Marketplace that due to high shipping cost for Canadians sending south likely would be of more interest if we had our own Canuck Marketplace.

Size 47 Setup Boots made by Sidi - $65.00 if you are close, if not I might need some help with splitting the shipping.

SOLD !!

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d1/JimFisher1956/DSC01418.jpg

Very good shape. Due to an injury and permanent swelling to my calf I cannot wear these. Shipping negotiable. They fit as per Sidi sizes so this is a 12.5.

Waterproof and very good condition.

I am not affiliated with GPS Central but thought I would pass on a very good deal. Just picked up a Garmin Nuvi 550 bundle including ..

New Nuvi 550  http://www.gpscentral.ca/products/garmin/nuvi550.html

Ram:(RAM-HOL-GA32) Holder for Nuvi 500 and 550. http://www.gpscentral.ca/ram-mounts/ram-hol-ga32.html

(RAM-B-174) Motorcyle mount with standard arm and diamond  http://www.gpscentral.ca/ram-mounts/ram-b-174.html

RAM 3" DIA. SUCTION CUP W 1" PLASTIC BALL (RAP-B-224-2) - auto mount

All for $249 plus Shipping only $4.95

I thought this was a pretty good price on a waterproof and good featured GPS and thought I would pass it on. It is the same deal that is available at GPS City, but GPS Central is 100% Canadian and based out of Calgary. Easy deal ... ask for George.  Cool  Thumbsup

Jim, if it's not too late, this may be a better mounting solution than the bulky clamp you ordered:

http://www.gpscentral.ca/ram-mounts/ram-b-367.html

The RAM-B-272 will also work, if you want a bit of offset (usually not needed with a RAM arm).

In either case, you'd use one of the four bar riser mounting points.

Just an FYI, that clamp you ordered comes standard with the Zumo 550, and it's nearly worthless on a bike with risers instead of tubular bars, IMHO.

You'd still need to order an arm with either solution I suggested.

Thanks. I do have a couple of ram ball/mounts like the one you posted. I figure I will actually attach to the windshield but will see. I got this mount just for the deal as it comes with the diamond and the arm. But agree it has limited use on the Guzzi

Joe Rocket Nano Overpants.

Size Large. Bought them last Oct, and the very next day, managed to score a full Motoport Kevlar set. Retail for around $250.

*NEVER* worn!

http://joerocket.com/catalog/index.cfm/237/416/Pants/Dry_Tech_Nano_Pant

How does a $100 + shipping sound? Make me an offer.

Held Profi gloves for sale.  Hardly worn.  These are size 7, which is quite small (like an idiot, I ordered them in 7 rather than 8, thinking they might stretch...but Held gloves don't stretch...)

These are race-quality gloves, no longer produced by Held, and there is no "replacement" model.  I'm quite ticked, because I really want a pair of these that fit...

Asking $100 (they used to retail for over $250 in Canada).  Buyer pays shipping.

I did the same thing with a pair of Steve II's. Ordered an 8 instead of 8.5.

You can stretch the gloves if they don't sell.  Wet them so they are soaked (inside and out). Let them dry out some. Put them on for a bit and make fist etc.. Do this every two hours or so until they are dry.

After they're dry, treat them with whatever you normally treat your leather with.

You'll be surprised how much better they'll fit. They DO stretch and will keep that shape when dry.

.. just not sure if a full size is possible Bigsmile

My old Held Sprints, which fit great when new, went to 'OMG I'll never get a glove that fits like this ever again' after I did the above to them after being caught in an all day downpour.

Thanks--I've considered this, and the possibility is one reason I'm not "giving them away" (also, they fit my wife--those are her hands in the photos--and, while she has other gloves and says she doesn't need these...)

I have a pair of Held Galaxy gloves that I bought from a guy who did the same thing--bought 8s when he shoulda bought 9s... Wink

I have a pair of UNUSED riding pants for sale or for trade, I ordered the wrong size and these are just too big.

TourMaster "Caliber" pants with detatchable liner as shown
Rainguard waterproof/breathable barrier
Perfect condition, I tried them on once and couldn't ride in them
Decent removable knee and hip armour
Size - Men's Tall 40-42 XXXL
Value - I dunno, $75?
Would trade for smaller pants or other stuff (soft luggage or farkles).
Location is Toronto

Cross posting from the regular marketplace.  Hope that's ok!

I wore the gloves 6miles (3 miles to work and back) but sadly I ordered them just a little bit too large for my girly hands

I paid $170 from New Enough (motorcyclegear.com) on the 29th of May and  I'm going to offer a 20% discount and sell for $136+S/H.  (I'm in Ottawa, ON, Canada if you want to calculate shipping...I expect shipping to be ~$10-20 to the lower 48 or Canada).

These are *great* gloves made of kangaroo hide. Here's a link to NE's page with their review http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/gloves/street_or_racing_gauntlet/held/steve_classic_gloves.html.  If you search ST.net you'll find lots of fans of the Held Steve gloves!

Sizing chart I took from NE:
Code:

Held Glove Size  Estimated Men’s Size
6 – 6 1/2          XS
7 – 7 1/2          Small
8 – 8 1/2          Medium
9 – 9 1/2          Large
10                  XL
11                  XXL
12                  XXXL

I've upgraded to a Shoei Neotech and have a selection of Multitech shields for sale. All are used but in serviceable condition as below.

CX1V Smoke. Very good condition
CX1V Pinlock with clear and smoke inserts. Good condition. The main screen has some scratching along the top mating surface, the inserts are in good condition.
CX1V Spectra Blue. Very good condition
CX1V Spectra Gold. Fair condition. This shield has some bad scratches on the extreme left of the viewing area. Not noticeable when installed.

All come with a custom "McGregor" protective sheath.

I'd like to sell them all as a package to simplify shipping so $135.00 for all, shipping to Canada included.

2002 VFR for sale in Ottawa, Ont.
I found myself a nice 05 KTM 640 Adventure, and now there's not enough room in the garage...  Angry3

First, a pic:

Then, the details:

  • 2002 VFR (non ABS)
  • 800 cc of pure joy when the VTEC valves kick in at 7,000 rpm.
  • Said valves were in spec 4k km ago.
  • Mileage is 96,000 km, but that's barely broken in for a Honda.
  • New battery, stator and R/R in the last 10,000 km
  • Dual-Star heated grips, on a switched circuit.
  • Laser-cut solo rack from KanadianKen -- bolts through the grab handles, puts the weight of the top box square on top of the rear axle. It does interfere with picking up hotties, but my wife sees that as a feature, not a design flaw.
  • Mounted on the rack is a Givi 52 litre top box.
  • I also have a set of Joe Rocket soft saddle bags
  • Garmin Colorado GPSr is hard-wired (not included on the sale, but I'd throw in the RAM mount which is screwed with the gas tank bolts.)

Asking $4,000.

Cross posting from main marketplace forum:

My new bike ('09 Bandit 1250 should fit '07-'10 bandits and the newer GSX1250FA's) came with the Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen and it does a much better job than the stock one at keeping the wind/rain off.  The only problem is I think it's a little bit ugly and I'm too vain to leave it on there Embarassment

Looking to make a straight trade for a ZG double bubble PM me (must be smoked/black and in very good condition)!

Just want to drum up some local interest:

As much as I enjoy the combination dual-sport/sport-tourer, I really have to make room in the garage (and Ms. Corbeau mentioned something about refloating the bank account, but I wasn't really listening...)

OK, so my red, 2002, non-ABS Honda VFR Interceptor is for sale. As they say in real estate, "motivated seller".

What you get:
  • Bulletproof VTEC engine (barely broken in), valves checked at 94,000 km and were in spec. Now shows 96xxx km on the odo.
  • New head bearings
  • Brand new front tire (Pilot Road 4)
  • Newer battery, stator and R/R
  • Dual-Star heated grips, on a switched circuit
  • Laser-cut solo rack -- bolts through the grab handles, puts the weight of the top box square on top of the rear axle. It does interfere with having a female passenger, but my wife sees that as a feature, not a design flaw.
  • Mounted on the rack is a Givi 52 litre top box.
  • RAM mount ball screwed with the gas tank bolts for your GPS
  • Couple of tough-to-see scratches on the right fairing.

Photo gallery (from earlier this summer with the old front tire...) is at http://neigeenhaut.com/VFR_FS/

Sold safetied. Asking $4,000. But then again, I'm motivated...

SOLD !

I have a pair of pristine M1 boots by Moose Racing. Enduro boots for sure. Great protection and ridden about 25km.
Thing is, I have an injury and a persistent swollen calf and these are not going to work for me. Otherwise they were looking good. Toe caps are shiny and only a minuscule wear from my pegs. I bought them to ride in Baja.

In other words ... virtually new.

Size 47/12 .. For comparison with my other boots I wear a 47 Sidi and a 47 Dainese boot. These fit same.

No, they are not waterproof, but offer an excellent build.

I am asking $75 shipped in BC/Alberta depending on where you are. Make me an offer...

Just like these

Do you still have these ??

SOLD!

New With TAGS ... Held Touring Star Gore Tex Gloves Size 11

These are the 2 in 1 gloves that did not come to North America. Very similar to Air n Dry with perforated palm for hot days and an inner GoreTex "chamber" that turns the glove into waterproof.

So here is the story. I bought these new from FCMoto in Germany. I normally wear a size 11 in Helds as are my Steve's, but these were too tight. So I returned them on June 19th and they were "lost" in the mail. Well, they just turned up today 4 months later as a return to sender. So I am wanting to sell them at a good price.

How about $125CDN and we can see where you are and likely split the shipping ?
I paid about $185 shipped and these gloves were originally $228USD.

These gloves will fit you if you wear a size 10 in Helds.

I ended up ordering another pair, I liked them so much and so now have a size 12 that fit perfectly and they are the best gloves I have ever had, and I have had a lot of gloves.  Lol Crazy

Here you can see the two Chambers - GoreTex and Breezy !

SOLD!   Chili Banana Chili Banana

I’m selling my 2013 Kawasaki KLR 650. 22,000 km. $4,000.
I’m the original owner. I bought the bike in 2013 for a trip to the Yukon. That’s been done, I’m no longer using it, it’s time to move on.
Never dropped. Broken in and maintained by the book. The bike does not burn oil.
I’ve installed an Eagle Mike doohickey with the torsion spring, a Thermobob, and an Eagle Mike drill-though subframe bolt kit.
Also installed are SW-Motech engine guards and footpegs, Moto-Racks luggage racks, a stainless front brake line, and an Eagle Mike forkbrace.
I’ll include the Wolfman bags and tankbag.
There’s a 16 tooth countershaft sprocket installed. I’ll include the stock 15 tooth sprocket.
There’s a manual fuel petcock. I’ll include the stock vacuum operated unit.
There’s a Seat Concepts seat. I’ll include the stock seat.
It’s sprung for 240 lbs with Racetech springs. I’ll include the stock springs.
I’m running a Polisport supermoto style front fender. I’ll include the stock fender.
I’ve installed a Uni air filter. I’ll include the stock filter.
I’m running tubeless tires. On the front wheel there’s a Tubliss. The rear wheel spokes have been sealed.
Tubeless Conti Trail Attack 2 tires with 5000 km.
New chain and sprockets, just installed.
I’ve built a tool tube, opposite the exhaust and cut the left hand side panel to fit.
I would not hesitate to take the bike cross-country again. It’s good to go to the Arctic Circle.

Buy it now before I trade it in!

It has occurred to me, my last post could cause confusion.

I am not purchasing another bike at this time, although knowing the bike and the seller, someone is going to buy a reliable, properly broken in and properly maintained machine.

I am selling a very little used JB Leatt STX neck brace. XXL  Worn 4 times.  I have been gifted a HitAir Jacket so will not be using this neck brace. Not a mark on it, clean as a whistle and comes with tags and all parts/tool to adjust size. I am 6' 2", 225lb and wear a xxl RevIt jacket. So about size 48. These are a great dual sport neck brace. Not as hardcore as the 5.5 they bridge the gap nicely for on and light offload. Currently, FortNine has them on sale for $396 CDN.   https://fortnine.ca/en/leatt-stx-jason-britton-neck-braceSelling for $235 CDN shipped in BC/Alberta. Split shipping depending on where you are.
