Kawasaki Versys 09 set up for touring - $4900 (Lansing)

http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm7/wibornz/2011-09-29_10-00-57_491-2.jpg

This is the wife's bike.
4900 dollars of best offer.

If you do not want the hard bags, I will take 500 off the price. This was cycle worlds bike of the year in 07.

It has the following:

Approximately 5800 miles
factory givi matching bags
handguards
power outlet in the dash
Buel footpegs
custom seat that was made for it.

She bought a horse, diesel truck, horse trailer, riding gear, horse tack, hay, well you get the point.

Anyways, it has been well maintained and is very clean. If you are looking for a Versys, this will not disappoint.  It is stored in a heated garage.

It is a great bike.  I would buy another one in a heart beat.  There is plenty of wind protection from the bike.  It was fun to ride.  The wife just didn't ride it.  I have the c14 set up for me so I didn't ride it.

When I did ride it, it was a hoot to ride.  I just like high hp bikes.  Wheelies at 60 and 100 + mph runs and riding tank to tank are more my kind of fun.  That is not what a versys is.  For bombing around town, and weekend rides are were the versys excells.

Good to know man, thanks. I've heard mixed stories about the Versys but generally the owners seem to like them. I think it's a nice little 650 offering from Kaw.
