I particularly like Pawhuska with the 5 story Flatiron Building wanna be. 5 stories in that town means it was a central part of the downtown (and probably still is). I also saw 3 for sure movie theaters.
I love riding thru old towns.
Looks like we have some letters to fill in though.

cool, i've been to a few of those. make a northeast oklahoma run and you can pick up langley, grove, jay, and zena. all within 30 minutes of each other and all good riding.

updated. I know where there are a couple of 'Z' towns so that will be easy, but finding an 'X' is proving to be really difficult. I can't even find an old ghost town... No Xenia, no Xray. There's got to be something in this whole state...

I checked my Oklahoma atlas published by DeLorme and they don't list any towns starting with X. And DeLorme is pretty good at listing non-incorporated communities. I also checked abandoned Oklahoma website
http://www.abandonedok.com/interact/maps/ghost-towns-of-oklahoma/
with no results. I dunno, maybe move on to a town that has X in the name?

There's always I.X.L, Oklahoma (certainly one of the more oddly named towns in the state). I've ridden through it a few times, but there's hardly enough to take a picture. It might be as close as I'll come to an X-town.

We've been playing the A to Z on a local board and we ended up using I.X.L. for our "X" town. It means Indian Exchange Land.
