 I started Abraham too.

Me too!    I cant quite understand how he was able to get up & walk away,  given that he was out due to spine injuries....  which quite a nasty looking high side.

I think Crutchlow's crash put the season championship out of reach for Team Viertakt. I had him as both an individual, and team pick in this last race. With Blue Flagged having the edge in remaining decent picks, I think I'm fighting for second place now.

WSBK is nuts. I've had 7 DNFs out of a possible 20 in the last two rounds (four races) and somehow I gained ground?!   Headscratch

Saving my Melandri picks for later in the season turned out to be a brilliant move.

I weathered the storm that was Portimao and hold the lead headed to the last round of WSBK. Rubber Side Racing (-6) and Team Moto (-25) are within striking distance so I'll need make some good picks to secure the new and improved ST.N WKE trophy to display beside last years MotoGP trophy...

Looks like I've got 6th place pretty much wrapped up in WSBK.  I have been the Master of Meh. My goal now is just to make it into the top 50 overall.

I still have hope in MotoGP. Fading, yes, but there's hope...

A little luck broke my way in that last race and I pulled out the WSBK title!!!   Bigok   It wasn't quite as close as the actual WSBK championship chase but similar in that three of us had a shot at the crown going into the very last race!!  Fun stuff!

Thanks Squeezer for getting the league set up. It is not like I needed an extra reason to watch the races but it added a little more excitement to an amazing WSBK season. I look forward to next season and the opportunity to repeat as champ!!   Razz

Congrats, Slippin. Ya pipped me by 9 points.

I guess I should just be damn grateful I got that close, considering I had eight DNFs in the last six races.  Crazy

Next year... (the eternal battle cry of the loser  Lol)

We're having a pretty good race for 2nd.   Lol

It's going to be tough for any of us to catch R Doug (Blue Flagged). It's not in the bag, but he's got a nice lead with 2 to go.

Can anybody, you know, lock him in their basement or something for a few weeks so he can't make his picks?   Thumbsup

Given the picks I have left, I don't believe I can do much worse if I were locked away somewhere.   Lol

My lead slipped this past weekend by a point or two.  All it would have taken was me picking Pedrosa instead of Stoner.  One more race left.  What riders and teams are left to pick will be the key.  My pickings are slim.  I do have on alien left to start as my A rider, but the B riders I have left to choose are generally backmarkers.

You're still (pick Spies) looking pretty strong (pick Spies). Something would have to go (pick Spies) very wrong for you (pick Spies) to lose at this point. We won't try (pick Spies) any subliminal tricks or anything (pick Spies). You (pick Spies) played well all season (pick Spies).
