I need to check the rules.  You can only pick the same manufacturer so many times over the course of the season?  Because I used the same selection over the last 2 races, apparently I received no team points?

Maybe I read it wrong, but....

- Dan

In MotoGP, you can pick a team 4 times over the course of the season. You can't have used your picks up yet.

Something's weird with the updates today. They'll clear it up eventually.

Moved into #1 in the STN league and #4 overall!  Chili     ....It'll come crashing down when the top picks are gone.

I, um, didn't.

Actually, I moved up in MotoGP. In WSBK, I'm working my way towards the bottom.

Of course I had Guintoli.     Angry3

I'm annoyed,  cuz my cable box died... & for some reason, I couldnt get the DVR recording to save for the WSBK race.

Well, McHack, the good news is that if you had to miss a WSBK weekend, this was the one to pick. Race 1 was canceled (I think they ran a lap, just long enough for Melandri to high side -- Speed ran a replay of Assen in the time slot). Race 2 was called after 8 laps.

Huh, is the league still going to apply the selections for this week?

In terms of points, it looks like everyone got zip for race 1 and full points for race 2 (in the real world, riders got half points for race 2).

In terms of picks, it looks like any pick you made for race 1 still counts against the total number of picks you can use for that rider or team. So we all lost our choices from race 1.  Sad

Didn't they bump our total number of selections up to 8?  I thought it used to be 7...so the end result would be not penalty for anybody.  Or maybe I'm mis-remembering?   Headscratch

By gum, you're right! I missed that. Although, personally, I think this is bad news for the riders. Giving me one more pick for a top rider means they'll crash one more time.

I continued my march to the bottom last weekend (with a significant assist from Mr. Rea).  I can't really blame Johnny for the worst of it, though. I thought I'd be smart and spend a pick on Laverty reasoning that the Brits always do well at their home race. That, um, wasn't as smart as I thought.       Lol

Doesn't look like I'll be talking a lot of smack this year unless I'm standing in front of the mirror.

I've been quietly holding ground in the top 10 overall and on top here in the league.

I was thinking during race 2, I may have to start smack talking a little, as I was ready to have a near perfect fantasy weekend.  Then J. Rea brought me (+ Marco and Leon   ) back down to earth, and I was relieved to see I didnt' get beat up too bad in the overall standing or here.  If the rest of the races are that exciting, I won't care where I place.

I've been out of town for a while, and can't seem to connect to the fantasy racing site on my mobile. Now that I'm back at home I'm very pleased to see that I have the highest scoring team with three zero point races!

I went heavy for BMW in both race 1, and 2. I was going to spread the picks around in race two, including choosing Rea, but decided to change back to BMW all the way.

Well I'm 10th in Superbike despite missing the first two races, and 10 points behind you in MotoGP, but I still have two Repsol Honda picks left.

We'll see how it shakes out down the line.

Sooo glad SPEED showed why Checa took a solo dump in race two  .  Still hanging on to the top step here and surprisingly moved to #5 overall in SBK.

I'll wait till later in the GP season to feel like I have a chance in that race.

WSBK:  Thumbsup Steady progress with many good picks left. Just got to use them wisely...

MotoGP:  Thumbsdown Lots of good picks left there as well but much farther to the front. Must use very wisely...
