Arrrrgh .... never seen snow here at Easter. I am sure it has happened but not since I've been here. The never ending winter...

Strangely enough, Bubba, no snow here this morning at all!

(For those who don't know, Bubba and I live only about 20 km from each other--but, as our last few posts indicate, we are definitely in different microclimates).

Sun is shining here and it's actually getting warmer. Hope it's coming your way. Smile

It's pretty nice in Montpellier, grass is green, trees are leafing out. Saw oranges on the ground by Valencia, didn't realise they were that early.

I have been to Montpellier, lovely area. Are you continuing south or?  If you have some time Bill, make sure you give Avignon a look, you are close and it is an amazing and old city.

WHAT !!!!

It might get  ***GASP***   dirty.

I wonder if La Regina del Garage will be jealous?

He'll have to park on separate sides of the garage, and probably keep something between them.

Actually went out for a ride on Friday but today we're having spring snow storm.   Angry3  They were forecasting 15-20 cm.  Not sure how much we'll actually get as it is still falling as I write this.

What makes me mad is that we had just enough rain last week to wash out the salt from the roads.  If we're lucky, they won't use any this time.

A muddy, banged up dual sport of some variety would make a good "spacer". That's a line no self respecting Italian would cross.  Lol

I am just surprised you sold that filthy KTM so quickly. Must have been a poseur buyer who wanted some instant Trail/Moab cred ?!  Twofinger  Unlike my garage queen that obviously only appeals to the city slickers/Starbucks crowd.  Lol

A sure sign of spring - yesterday i made my first New Denver-Kaslo-Nelson-Winlaw loop.   By the time i got home with a little detour was about 235km.  Gotta love that electric vest, it was a little nippy over the 31A with both Fish and Bear Lakes frozen solid and covered by thick mats of snow.  There was still, not surprisingly, a fair bit of "grit" on the road but there was always at least 2 clear lines through all corners.  Saw a a few other bikes between Kaslo and Nelson but none on the 31A.  As a matter of fact I encountered no other vehicle period riding in my W-E direction on the 31A.  Good piles of snow beside the highway at the 31A summit area, couldn't even see the washroom at the rest area!  Managed to forget to put the camera in the tank bag so sorry, no pix!
