I'm in; Grant has to check his schedule.  But I'll bring the Breva if it turns out to be just me.   Bigsmile

Yep!  You missed the Sazerac Rye last year.

But I can bring some more ;-)

Sigh,  sorry guys,

No Speedos,  no Vasoline, no trailer and no Birdrunner this year.

Missing the BBBBQ is the down side of being in Europe for the month of July.

Well, damn it, I'll have to pass on this year's event since it's the same weekend as the AMA international Women and Motorcycling Conference.  It never seems to fail that all the good things fall on the same weekend.

Sounds like Viffergryl will be out as well and I know the two of us could certainly provide some hilarity as well as some corner hanging. Lol We'd also have an awesome trip up there together!  GRRRR.

I'll miss seeing you all, the great food and awesome riding, but me and my girlyness will be hanging with da women.

Sure,  I'll send down the Speedo's and Vasoline  (separate or together),  what's your offer?

I haven't worn a speedo since 1980 on Redondo Beach. The constant calls of "Speeeedo" as I walked by were enough to quickly send me to the surf shop and effect a life long cure.  No.  I meant trade you Europe for hosting the Borscht Burn. I am long overdue for a visit and slurping Amstel Beer.  Thumbsup

Do you have any idea what you are in for? Nasty tourists clogging all the streets, venues filled to the rafter, and very cranky locals that will hate you.

Castlegar is a better choice.  Bigok

I'll be there in June and July as well (London) but hopefully we'll be done recording and out of there during the Olympics, which as it happens, starts the same day as the KBBB.

Knock on wood, because I missed the 2010 KBBB while doing a recording session, and as a consequence, 2010 sucked.  Smile

For those who will be attending, and who like to eat breakfast before riding Razz I'd like to post a quick note: the owners and proprietors of the Frog Peak Cafe are currently building an addition which will allow them to install a full grill...and I've been promised a MUCH enlarged and improved breakfast menu by the time summer arrives (if it ever does, this year Crazy ).

That means the menu will be exactly the same, except there will be 14 different kinds of Bennys, instead of six.  Bigsmile

I thought you were, er  ... Giniet van de polders ? Bimonstering Amsterdam ? ... at least I hope you are knowing your lineage and all and what you have written about your father and all.

But rest assured, you will be missed. My year in Europe was highlighted by a month in Amsterdam. Good city, great art, great people and still my favourite beer ... Amstel !  Enjoy !

Goede ries !!!

It is with great sadness.... that I will not be able to attend this year! My wife is away out of province at this time

I will miss all the fun that will be had, and look forward to attending next year.

Ride safe and have an awesome weekend

WHAT  EEK!  now who is going to be our token crazy kid on a super sport???  Geez we are really going to look like a bunch of old farts now  Sad

Ship the kids over by plane, put them in a hotel with a water slide while you are riding, pick em up at the end of the day and bring out to the beach camping ... your good to go  Bigsmile

Pretty sure I'm not a whippersnapper anymore either...that whip done snapped.

We need to do something to attract the youth audience.  Maybe we can get one of those hep cat beat poets out to the cabin.

Yup. In a few years I can see it being called the Borscht, Bladder Control and BBQ.
