It's lovely down here in Louisville. 56* and sunny when we stopped for gas.  Next stop, Birmingham, AL for 5 days.  Oh, yeah, there's two bikes in the bed of the truck.    I hear Michigan has 4-6" forecast for tonight.

Change of plans.

We're stopping in Nashville.  Weather is gorgeous, free accommodations and a garage to keep the bikes in.  Look for pics of the Natchez Trace, a ride over to Chattanooga and who knows what other devilry we can find.

It's  50* and somewhat sunny in Lieper's Fork.  We rode 50 miles of the Trace and stopped for lunch.  



We found the Dukes of Hazzard and the Beverly Hillbillies parking spots.

GoPro 2.    We have video.  Natchez Trace at a good pace, but a bad mounting point for the camera.  Got some jitter.

We got it pretty good today.  It was green Wednesday and we did some good snowmobiling at the farm today.

Off to IHOP for strawberry pancakes, bacon and coffee, then out for a couple hundred miles of twisty goodness to work it off.  When we get back, it'll be time to load up for the drive home tomorrow, concluding a great weekend down here in Nashville.  Damn.

Took the kiddo sledding for the first time before all this melts today.  Snow on the hill was that awesome stuff that froze into a solid sheet overnight, but now it's a little melty so there's a layer of water to kinda lube the sled along...

He had a blast.

G's daughters are not fat.  but they are very fast.  105 pound girls on 165 hp sleds are just fast as hell.

  You mean THE SNOW COWS Bender.... There that is out of the way.

  Just want to remind you MI guys what happened in 05' that last time there was little snow in central MI in winter....11 (!) inches of RAIN in May of that year! YUK too. Precip all evens out eventually.
