this is my hammer. my dad gave it to me. he got it from his dad who got it from his before him. it's been in the family for generations. we've had to replace the handle a few times and the head twice but it priceless because of its family history.

Sweet.  We're up to 15 and there's more than 2 months to go.  In a few weeks, I'll get the food / dinner thing going.

I am splitting a room with R Doug (not noted on the IN list yet). My hope is to take some extra days off and do the really long way to Sparta and even longer way home. Perhaps a trip from Pittsburgh to Casa de Smith on Day 1 (Thu) is in order, then ride together to Sparta. I'd like to return home via eastern Kentucky and southeast Ohio.

... Whoa!... can't believe I've been out of the loop so long!..

  Well, was laid off last year and been in school since. Take classes Fri/Saturday's so time is squeezed.
  This meet is less than a days ride away, but have to see how school schedule goes... sure would like to be there with you all. I passed through this region and Mt. Airy year before last on my way back from the Dragon.
  I'll make it a point to keep up with the group...
