Hi Gary,
Just ran it yesterday.  Weather was "Awesome" and no traffic at all.  Then ran the Devil's Whip three times.  What's the Devil's Whip, actually NC80 East of the BRP, another "Awesome" road.

Rode 80 this past weekend. OMFG.

Wish they would stop naming these roads, it causes a cruiser feeding frenzy  Lol

Rod,

I had actually planned on hitting that on the saturday ride. The way the weather was playing out that day it made more sense to go south. Will have to try it next time I'm down.
We missed you this year, was hoping to see you there.

Like I said earlier, I rode 80 with the FJR group.

My buddy Bill recorded video and thought you'd like to see.  Notice the wrecked vintage Ferrari near the end that bounced off both the guard rail AND the opposite rock cut near the end.

Oh ya, theirs at least 1 other ST.n'r in this video. Pic him out.

I was planning on it too.  Thought I'd get some instructions on the proper temp to drink beer  Lol  Been having some minor health issues that have been interfering with riding.  Mostly has to do with keeping hydrated and managing when and what I eat.  Gettin' old sucks, don't do it if at possible  Lol
