Change the bars to a set of clip-ons and add a small cafe windscreen and you'd have a great cafe bike! I want one.

60hp/250lb? Very similar specs to my brothers KTM 450.
That 450 is about the most explosively powerful bike I’ve ever ridden....and I ride a Hayabusa!
That tells me that this bike ought to be HUGE amounts of fun and should wheelie on demand at
any
speed.
Where do I sign?

Agreed. That headlight and the hanging mount are completely off the Sportster. The triple tree looks like it too. Forks, certainly. Good catch.
It was the same as on my '80 FX.

We had a KTM 450EXC turned SuperMoto for a year before trading with a friend for a GSX-R750. I sure do miss that bike, quite possibly the most fun I've ever had a motorcycle. If only it could do the highway. I spent a few months trying to convice the BF it'd make a awesome sport-touring bike, but he wouldn't agree. And didn't want to do valve checks in the middle of a trip...
Either way, I'D LOVE to find a sport-touring worthy bike in the 250-300lb range...

Yeah, that KTM was a real eye opener as to what those big-bore dirtbikes can do and what a truly awesome suspension felt like. Twisting the grip was like a mildly controlled explosion (very mildly controlled) and that suspension would soak up dips and bumps that I would have expected to compress my spine and cause bodily injury.
Dirtbikes have the “2 wheeled fun factor gage” buried on “euphoric”, that’s for sure.
I just recently took a CR125 in as a partial trade on a CBR I sold and the smiles don’t stop from the time I kick that thing to life to the time I shut her down.

I rode a friend's XR 450 Honda. I was blown away by the power - just completely stupid fun. The biggest eye opener though for me on a bike was when I rode a friend's son's 65cc KTM two stroke. I couldn't believe how violently that thing exploded forward, even with my 190+ lbs on it.

Front end seriously doesn't match the rear - Ohlins shock and Sportster forks? Regardless - I want one. Where can I get one? How much?

I doubt that is a Sportster fork. Lower fork leg is way too short and looks different from the Sportster fork and the very base of the fork (near axle) is also different from the Sportster. Triples are not form the Sportster either. This is a street tracker which most people model after XR750 dirt track racers. Many of the XR750 racers use a standard RSU fully adjustable fork. The YZF600R (non R6) fork is popular with flat track racers as they have found the modern USD fork found on most late model sport bikes too stiff. I'm guessing this is a fully adjustable RSU fork from a Japanese bike. Neither the wheel, caliper or disc are from the Sportster either.
The headlight does look like the Sportster unit.

Proof? You want proof???
Sorry, I really don't give two shits. No proof.
It just looks fairly identical, OK, extremely similar to the Sportster.

You're all tweaked now. Its identical except the size of the lower fork leg, the bottom of the fork leg where it mounts the axle, the shape of the bell around the seal, the triple clamps, the wheel size and the brakes. Other than that, like you said, its straight off a Sportster.
