Put in for several job options on your side of the sea, looks like part of the move package include shipping of a vehicle along with household goods. Doubt the Hummer would be a good choice given price of petrol and it's mileage. Considering shipping over my BMW but wondering if there will be any registration issues as far as it's size (750cc) or lack of modern tech-gizmos like ABS? Sounds like it's hard to reg higher CC bikes in France, but haven't heard much about anywhere else.
Also, saw a news story about EU possibly banning choppers, performance upgraded bikes, and requiring ABS on bikes. Would they grandfather in non-compliant bikes?
Just wondering. I know it would cost me more to replace my BMW here if i sold it before moving and tried to find another one later. Looks like used bikes are going for 2-4000euros when I searched for them a week or so ago. Was interesting to see some models for sale that I had to google as was unfamiliar with them.
Thanks...

You will need a local bike shop for the usual stuff.
You could get off on the right foot with them by buying a bike from them
