This is an older post in the Ride section, but I thought I'd share the cool video and music/editing. There was a lot of thought and work that went into this video for sure. I love watching it. Off-roading in an SV650! And that incredible road in Norway! Wow! Thanks AlpineGuerrilla.

I wonder about those shots of him riding by or coming towards the camera. Since he was by himself, he must have had to set up the camera, start recording, and then ride back down the road, turn around and ride back, turn around again and retrieve the camera. Lots of unused video and time spent in that process. I have a Contour helmet cam, but I don't think I would want to take that much time out of my riding. Great effect, though.

The author has another series of his tour through the Alps where you get to see a little "behind the scenes" at the end of the video. He does indeed find good spots to leave the camera and does staged ride-bys. The filmmaker in him probably enjoys it as much as the rider in him.

Yup the ride report was front and center for weeks. I was too busy at work to view it until a couple of weeks ago. It's one of the best ride videos I've seen in a while. Notice how the video is geared toward the music with really good editing. I wish I could do vids like that. I'm too impatient to take the time even though I have a HD video camera.

Look at the globe
Norway is up there at the same latitude as Eskimo-land
I rode a good portion of Norway, and while the scenery is undeniably jaw dropping, I tend to blank out the scenery when I rate motorcycle roads.
Throw in the weather and the draconian speeding enforcement and the undisputed champeen of the werld is...

Excellent video with a great blend of scenery, riding, music, and humor.
Rainy hairpins, now that must've been fun.
And that SV sounded great.
