F/S or F/T: 1999 Honda VFR (NYC) SOLD

Bike has been sold
EDIT: Lowered price, including unistalled Helibars also.
Forgot I had them.
Damn, here I go again, asking why the hell I'm thinking of getting rid of the Viffer... I've tried to move on several times, but find it hard to pull the trigger. Each time I'm almost there, I'm reminded how much I love the power, comfort, V4 soundtrack... But alas, I think it's time to get something more practical for the many things I ask of it.
The bike has served as a commuter, long distance tourer, 2 up steed, and around town grocery getter. No matter where I go, people compliment its looks and the way it sounds. While it's been stored in a heated garage, it has been ridden through rain, cold, heat, etc.
Now I'm looking for something I can hit the occasional fire road on, leave parked on the street without worrying about it being knocked over or stolen, and tour. Hence, my interest in the WeeStrom. If you have one that's in good condition, low miles, let me know. ABS would be preferred. I don't need one that's heavily farkled, as that's part of the fun of having a bike, no?
Stats:
25300 miles (this may go up a bit)
Tires are Metzler Z6s, but pretty much done
The chain and sprockets were done recently
Used Shell Rotella
Farkles:
Corbin two tone (carbon black/red)seat
Carbon fiber front fender
Ventura headlight guard
Kisan turn signal canceller
Undertail smuggler cubby
Double bubble windshield
H4 bulb adapters
Givi WingRack
2Brothers headers, and slip on, stock slip on
Updated rectifier
2K mirrors
R&G Frame Sliders
Carbon Fiber heat guard, key scratch protector
3 tank bras
Rear seat cowl
Scottoiler
Powerlet
Undertail storage locker
Factory repair manual
Probably a whole other bunch of stuff I can't remember
And if your Wee comes with top and side cases, I'll include 2 Givi E21s and a color matched Givi top case (V45?)
The good:
Bike's been well taken care of, is clean, and runs great.
It sounds amazing.
Comfortable for all day rides.
People won't say you have an ugly bike.
It's a VFR, gear driven cams, in the faster red color.
The bad:
She's been dropped, never at speed. Twice on a gravel driveway, and once on concrete when I was taking her off the center stand. I caught it each time, but the plastic did touch the ground. If you're not looking for it, you won't notice any damage. It was all cosmetic, and I've filled it in with Color Rite. From more than 2 feet away, you won't see it at all. I just believe in full disclosure.
She's developing a few stress cracks around the turn signals. Nothing very noticeable. If I didn't tell you, you probably wouldn't notice.
There's a few light scratches on the tank from dirt getting under the tank bag magnets. Again, if I didn't mention it, you wouldn't notice it.
There's a light dent on the tank. Again, you probably wouldn't notice it if I didn't tell you.
Overall condition is probably 8/10. My riding buddies say better.
I'm not desperate to move on, so if no one's interested, it's all good. If you're interested in a sale, and not trade, price is $3700. I can also take some farkles off, or you can sell them, for a lower price.
Pics:
That's what she looks like with the 2Bros can on. It's included in the deal. This pic also captures the color as it is.
More photos are available.
Thank you for looking.

It's a plus, but it isn't a deal killer. I do want something a little lighter.

Damn Cowboy has me thinking about trading my VFR for a DL1000 now. Not sure I can give up the V4 though. It does have some serious charm. Mine is crazy similar to yours Kamzilla only I have the Givi tubular racks instead of the wing racks.

Go for it, Jason. I hear you on the VFR, though - it's a really tough bike to move on from. Shoot, I had my ad typed up for 3 days before I finally hit the post button.

VFR is the short list of bikes I'd negotiate a trade for. And I'll admit it, it would be TOUGH to give up the Strom.

I was looking for a Strom when the deal on the VFR sort of fell in my lap. VFR was on the short list of bikes I always wanted to try and have always loved so I jumped on it instead of continuing the hunt for the Strom. I do know one thing, it will be hard to give up the near instant start worry free fuel injection and that cam gear whine. The VFR just makes me happy.

You're right. With the 2Bros can on, I could listen to the soundtrack for hours. Loved going through tunnels with it.

Sorry - funny thing is that within 5 minutes of my agreeing to sell, I got 7 inquiries on the bike.
The Vee is an awesome bike, and there are a few VFR owners looking at switching, so post something up, and you'll probably get a few hits.

We should talk....
I have a very low mileage F650 GS...in the Boston area.
Frenchie and DD have seen it...it's spotless.
Let me know...you'll save me from having to move it back to WI now that I have relo'd back to R4.

I've already made the deal, and gave the buyer my word that it's his, so I can't go back on that. The F650 is a cool bike, though.

Understood. Wouldn't ever want the bad juju of buying a bike out from underneath another rider.
Have you found a Wee yet?
If not...interested in the baby GS?
