I found this in a Moto Safety community chat, I would do it but a C2C isn't in the plan this year :-)

... a motorcycle rider study to test the use of videotape records in rider research. Participants ride their motorcycle on a predefined route while being observed and videotaped by a vehicle following behind.
Astounding! Why, this is an idea totally unprecedented in the history of motorcycling!

The participants are going to ride differently than they normally do because they know they are being recorded and evaluated. Like driving with a cop behind you. They should just troll YouTube and Vimeo to analyze vids of people riding in the "wild".

A few years ago I volunteered to be videoed by an STN member.
My riding skills evaporated as soon as the camera was turned on.

Yeah... That's what I claim whenever anyone catches me on video too.

I'd do (2) 1/2hr rides for $100 in gift cards! Too bad it's MD licensed riders only.

I don't think they have enough money to make me a MD resident again.

So on Sunday the 25th i go check in and ride for 30min.
From there e-mail
What to expect: Be prepared to spend about one hour with us to complete the study. You will sign in at the “check in” table. Following check-in, you will meet the Research Team assigned to you. Then you will ride for approximately 30 minutes on a preplanned route.
Remember, you are only being observed; you are not being judged.

But don't they have to be able to keep up with you to observe you

Looks like they will be observing more than one C14.
I am sing up for next weekend on Saturday in the morning.
For once I will be paid to ride.
Hope to see some of you at my C14 ride on April 15.
The wife is doing better so I can start to ride again.
