I'm in need of some regular gauntlet style gloves. The local stores have a fairly poor selection, but I'm leery about sizing when buying online. How/where do you guys buy your gloves?

I picked up a pair of Held gloves, which are by far the finest gloves I have ever owned, from trophycycleapparel.com. He used to be local and I was a previous customer so I went back. It would be nice to be able to try gear on before buying, but most local shops don't carry the brands I want anymore. His suggestion on choosing a size was right on, and I picked it over my initial thought. Could try a forum sponsor as well.

Anybody ever order from sportbiketrackgear.com? I've never ordered from them but I like how they have video reviews of tons of products. Great for seeing 3d views of the items.

I have not, but a few local track guys have used them with good results.

What are you talking about You're a dealer. A retailer. 90% of your 14 posts here have been pitching products that you sell or picking STN's brains to use for market research on product lines that you're adding to your store. Just sayin'

I dunno. I don't think general discussion forums are the place to pitch your shit.
That's what Vendors is for. Hell even the avatar is his logo for a web sales site.
My guess is that he's got a presence on other major MC forums doing the same damn thing.

me, I'm with Bubbles on this one -- a vendor that wants to listen is to be prized, in my opinion.
as far as being a member of the community, I've been called sooooooo much worse ;-}
break break
+1 on both Lee Parks and Held . . . . both oustanding product, with the nod going to Lee Parks for customer service, in my experience . . . . my hands a hard to fit, and both companies did a great job, off the rack.

Yamaha Forums HD Forums XL Forums Versys Forum Kawi Forum Sportriders.org ADV Rider Thunderpress. On a quick google. I rest my case. Guy's a forum hopping free advertising spammer for a web-based business. me, I'm with Bubbles on this one -- a vendor that wants to listen is to be prized, in my opinion. What we need is MANUFACTURERS and product designers who want to listen. Not vendors. Vendors are a dime a dozen all over the web and if you let them crawl all over a forum and give them free license to use a forum for information mining/advertising for themselves where will it stop?

Well...I didn't realize there are so many touchy folks on this forum. I was upfront in my postings that I'm looking for product feedback and suggestions so I can offer the kinds of products you all might be looking for. My apologies for all those who feel so violated.
And what's wrong with recommending Fox Creek Leather? I have no affiliation with them other than being a satisfied customer.

Touchy?? Maybe. Fact of the matter is, you don't give a rats red ass about STN or probably any other of the 9 forums that you're using for your own gain. Sorry, it ain't touchy, I just call it as I see it. so I can offer the kinds of products you all might be looking for. Keep workin' on that too. I counted 8 or 9 different Doo-Rags on your main "Riders Wear" page. .
