Anybody tried it?
I'm looking at the Terra Trek jacket,
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1/39/35143/ITEM/Fly-Racing-Terra-Trek-Jacket.aspx
and the Butane pants,
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/11/51/663/35149/ITEM/Fly-Racing-Butane-Pants.aspx?WT.ac=Cart_Item
.
Basically looking for comfy everyday riding gear that works in the hotter weather. Waterproof is good, or at least water resistant enough to get through a quick shower or drizzly morning ride and breathe enough for an 85 degree afternoon.

I have an earlier Fly Racing Patrol jacket, it's pretty nice. Good venting and lightweight but blocks wind well when vents are all zipped up. Sheds water decently enough (but it is older model), a newer version might be more resistant.

Well I got it. Almost got to rain test it last night but I wasn't fast enough and the rain moved on. I like the exterior material, light but sturdy. Interior is the waterproof membrane and it feels almost like a trashbag. Should be much better with underarmour. Zipper vents are impossible to operate up or down with the jacket on. For the price I am happy. It's much lighter and less dense than the Teiz Lombard one piece yet has a bit more composition than similar Joe Rocket textile gear.

Got the Mesh jacket, description of liner feeling like a garbage bag is right on. And why manufacturers of mesh jackets insist on black textile portions is beyond me, shoulders and upper arms were burning up. Returned it ASAP.

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.
