A guy I knew yrs ago did his head in gun-blue - he found/used a DIY kit.  It looked ok (very dark blue).


I saw a bobbed shovel in Santa Fe years ago -- most everything you would expect to be chrome had been gun blued . . . . .it was simply gorgeous . . . . ..

I like #2. The black and chrome looks more "Vincent-y", therefore should go well with black and gold bodywork.
