This sounds like a cool idea:
2012 Harley-Davidson Lineup to Break Tradition With Water-Cooled Engines

Quote
Harley-Davidson's notoriously nostalgic, 108 year practice of building only air-cooled engines (with the exception, of course, of the V-Rod Night Rod Special and V-Rod Muscle) is about to come to a screeching halt. Thanks to certification documents leaked by the EPA and California Air Resources Board, all engines in the 2012 Harley-Davidson lineup will feature a radiator discreetly wedged between each model's downtubes.

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

" the spokesperson said during a phone interview, "but toughening emissions regulations and practical considerations have forced us to modernize our powerplants."
Why start now
that is just too funny.

Harley has had a water colled engine for 10 years .. the Porsche designed V-rod .
They have EPA certified variants of this engine up to 2300 cc .
"The Faithful" however will likely see the new oil cooled heads on the big twins first .
