I was there two weeks ago.  Pretty quiet.  Frankly, not much character left after the 2nd fire and complete rebuild.  Food was OK.

Have to agree with CountyTar - we've been there twice since the 2nd fire...just "OK".  I'm thinking Gunderburger. (http://www.thegunderburger.com/)

Gunderburger is always a good thing.  But, when are you thinking?

That's near my hometown of Elkader.  Always like to get up that way, this would be a fantastic reason.

Turns out I work with someone related the owners of Breitbachs and I've talked about going there.  If a Gunderburger is called, I'll call a Breitbachs for another time. It's a darn good trip heading west from here - I just need the excuse!
