Been meaning to update this.  Sorry for the delay.  The baby G has been sold...although it's staying in the family, as my cousin will become the proud new owner once he gets his endorsement.  As part of the sale I retain buy-back rights, though... Bigok

Life once again gets in the way...but it's all good!

I purchased this baby GS in December '10, after having relocated to the Boston area.  Work and commuting back and forth to WI meant precious little riding time.

Now that I have relo'd back to the land of Sky Blue Water, I will still have too little time to ride...and no rationale excuse for keeping two 'cycles in the remuda.

What you are looking at is a pristine F650 GS.  A true "thumper"...single cylinder...48 hp.  Terrific mileage.  Originally silver, the original owner purchased / installed the red BMW tupperware.  The odo currently reads a smidge under 2,000 miles.  Battery was new in December 2010.  Chicken strips and mold nubs still in place.  It has the "low seat" factory option, too...so it's a great fit for those who may be a bit vertically challenged.  I'm "guesstimating" that the saddle height is in the 28" range.

I've added only a few items...a small tankbag and a set of pannier racks have been installed.  I have two "pelikan-style" hard shell plastic cases and the hardware necessary to mount them.  I also have a set of aux light mounts.  The cases and light mounts are not yet installed.  I also purchased a (ridiculously expensive) BMW Trickle Charger to go with the new factory battery.

Because I am a luddite, I can't embeg photos...but there are several found on the attached thread from when I purchased the bike.

ST-N Friends and Family priced.  Depending on schedules, I may be able to facilitate a fly / ride handoff.

I "should" know this...

Nice bike, GL w/ sale & welcome home.  FWIW, 'Land Of Sky Blue Waters' refers to Minnesota, not Bonnie 'Sconnie.  Wink

FWIW, 'Land Of Sky Blue Waters' refers to Minnesota, not Bonnie 'Sconnie.  Wink

True...but most folk outside of R4 couldn't locate / identify either on a map....

This price is a steal.  If somebody doesn't buy it quick, it will fly off IBMWR

I will be hauling this back to R4 within the next couple of weeks...unless Frenchie surrenders to all of the subliminal messages I've embedded within each forum on this site...

Over 50 on ours. If I remember right it was just under 60 MPG.
