Low end jerkiness on a very light throttle...

Pete,
The 2012 Stelvio that I just had in Mandello seemed to have been well set up, and didn't have any jerky feel to it.  It did, however, have an annoying power dip at around 3,400 rpm, which I learned to stay away from.  When I got back, I mentioned that to the guys in the shop and their answer was probably as good as any:  "Go faster."

just back from a 5200 mile road trip, time for an NTX update  Bigok

The bike now has 8,000 miles on it and was last serviced at 600 miles a few days after purchase - though I changed the oil and filter just before the trip at 2,600 miles. Couple weeks on the road, 9 states and 2 provinces - and the bike was perfect the whole time, did not miss a beat.

I can tell it needs a TB synch, but it's otherwise quiet and smooth.
Valve lash will be checked before setting just to see how far out things got in 7,400 miles.

Back from a full service today, runs and feels better than new. The valves had loosened up a tad, but I'll take that over getting tighter any day - and it wasn't a huge amount.

All new fluids at my request - figured after a 5,200 mile trip would be a good time to get rid of swarf in a new motor, which sits at 8,100 miles at this service.

Replaced the H3 bulb in the right side Hella...which went dark in northern Oregon one night   Bigsmile

Interesting. Checked my valves and what I thought was so many other things turned out to be the lash had completely closed up. World of difference. Wink
