As Garry said rebuild the suspension, U'll be glad U did.  I installed Ohlins & Racetechs on my '02 VTR about 4 yrs ago & by far my best mod ever.

And I've used this to keep track of all work - www.ahm-ownerlink.com

Congrats on the 100k club - I want to do that on the VTR

Excellent!  I lust after many others but the VFR is just so damn reliable and willing.  The suspension definitely bugs me and I'll probably upgrade the shock within the next year.

Hulked, I came across this forum while doing a search in Google related to VFR800's.  I have 98 VFR that I installed a supercharger on from A&A Performance...love it.  Thanks for the great article about the mileage on the VFR.  Hopefullly mine will last just as long.

I also noticed you live in Mass.  If your ever on the north shore of Boston let me know.

That will depend on how often you run it into full boost range.

Hulked Up,

I have had Dual Star grip heaters on my 145,300 mile ST1100 for about 8 years and like them.  Used them today.  What did you not like about them?

GRATS!!!!  i wish i still had my 02 VFR. i was riding the piss out of it. i put 20k on it in less than 16 months while owning another bike the  last 8-9 months of VFR ownership. and I was getting some great riding on the other bike too.

i keep searching CL and CT for VFRs to get cheap and build it the way i want it, but i have to wait til we get back to SD.
