Vintage Motorcycle Days 2012 - Mid-Ohio

For the old timers here, you may remember 2 members, JCS and Ruffcut. This year at VMD some of us will be remembering them. JCS and Ruff both have passed from battles with cancer. Cooter and I will be at VMD all weekend and will be working on a few special things to remember them (nothing big). Any of the "old Gang" who came to VMD back between 2002-2009 and remember or knew JCS and Ruff (or anyone who wants to) are encouraged to come and pay your respects. We are hoping that Jean (JCS's wife) and Denise (Ruff's wife) will be there.

I'm hoping to get get back in touch with a few friends from years past. Any questions, contact me or Cooter.

I was sorry to read of their passing. For what it's worth, neither you or Gar are regular posters, and a lot of the old-timers have moved on to other pastures.

I have been to VMD a couple times and loved it.  It's a great event if you like the old steel.

I didn't know those riders, but I hope you have a good turn-out. I'm FINALLY going this summer and I'm really excited about it. I'm taking my kids along and hoping to start a family tradition.

If I have any money left after my current project, I'll be bringing home something to work on. I have a friend who goes every year and tows a trailer that holds over a dozen bikes comfortably.

What's interesting to me is the foreign guys who show up and fill a big trailer with bikes, then ship 'em to Europe.

 Used to be a fairly regular attendee at Mid-Ohio, but Barber Vintage Days has won me over.
