Japanese wisdom says perfection is attained when nothing more can be removed.

The FJR is case in point.

No, the FJR is saddly a microcosim of American society as a whole, overweight, underpowered and quite frankly butt-ugly

Like the little fat kid in the bumble bee outfit on that one faggot Hippy video about no rain or some stupid bullshit, a sad display of hopes and dreams missplaced....

I weep for us all...... Sad

Can a wanna be "Sport Tour Rider" ever get past the freeway/slab, city street, parade riding debauchery that has him cast into a delusional sensation of being one of the big boys?

Only if he puts forth an effort to seek out that so-far elusive fantasy of being a true " Sport Tour Rider"

Had to reply here. First off, the FJR IS a Sport-Tourer. Secondly, underpowered it is not. 145HP w/ a top speed that will exceed 150MPH. Your little Beamer has 1200cc's and barely makes 100HP. Lol 125MPH top speed. Get some knowledge before you spew nonsense.

Little fat kid? Maybe I should add another front fender to make it prettier?  Rolleyes

I don't think adding another fender will solve the weight problem.

Subtract your weight from the total, then add a skinner rider. Lol

don't know at level a bike magically changes over to Sport, but i had no problem doing some canyon carving. it was plenty sporty for me at the time.

No, but I am sure it would be less "butt ugly" with 2 front fenders, like the GS.
