I finally decided that I'm too lazy to clean and reoil a reusable filter often enough. I've never really trusted the amount of oil I use anyway. I ordered a replaceable OEM filter yesterday.

just cleaned the Uni Filter on the FJR this weekend - and it needed it as it had 15k miles on it.

I always INTEND to clean it more often but never seem to get around to it.
