Yeah I'd say that's a bovine cornea.

Your scalpels there are a dead giveaway too. Biology class??

Cheaters!   Bigsmile

Yep- we dissected cow eyes in class yesterday.  I had a few left over so the kids that really liked it came back and did some more today at lunch for a photo-op for our promotions woman.  One of the girls did a really nice job with the incision and removal of the vitreous humor and lens (not the cornea- it clouds up after death)- I thought it was cool enough to grab a picture.  It's not often students do such a good a job getting it out so nicely that you can perfectly see the muscles that control the lens.   Thumbsup

Hey. I didn't cheat. My first look was a fresh-water jellyfish but we've BTDT. Then I saw the color around the periphery and the scalpels and it all came together but Chris beat me to it.  Twofinger

That was an easy one dude, you can do better than that.

My first thought too-until I saw the ironmongery in the background.
