GhostRider's TurboBusa wheelies @ 224mph.
That'd be a great second bike for an experienced dude like yourself...

A couple years ago I traded my car for a learning bike. I got a GS500F.
I don't drop it as much anymore
and I'm done learning so I want to step up now and get a decent bike.
A friend tryed to tell me the ZX10R was fast, and someone said the S1000 was good. But I really don't want an intermediate step with something milktoast cuz I'll just end up tradeing it in 6 months or so, I'm sure. I also don't want something old, so I think 10k miles is a good maximum.
The question is on a ZX14 or Busa what kind of burnout is good for a testride? I want to be sure it does all that but with the power should I keep it brief or just do what I want to it?
OK, if you don't drop is as much anymore (
), you're definitely ready for a Busa. Call Shervin, he'll tell you what you need.
This guy is trolling...

+1
I did some of Shervin's mods on my Busa - what a difference. I trimmed off close to 100 LBS by removing unneeded frame material.

Why bother buying at all? Just arrange your test rides to coincide with trip plans and leave the bike at a wrecker when you're finished dropping it.

well, i was gonna say Tomahawk, but it's out of your price range....
oh, how exactly does it run at rev limiter while doing a stoppie? oh wait, you only do one stoppie and that's at the dealership so you don't ever need to do a stoppie... hence the WOT much of the time.
i smell a bass boat needing it's trolling motor.

Not sure this would be a good choice. Red bikes are speeding ticket magnets.
Of course, a burnout is not a moving violation, is it? Good choice for you.

It's a good choice for his
last
second bike. He can add nitrous to it if he
lives
gets bored.

I would recommend a GoPro camera to document your riding progress so that we can give suggestions.
