I am thinking of this as my portable digital device. All reviews seem to indicate it is a decent choice the only constant negative being poor sound quality.

How could I make a purchase based on the input of strangers?

I can't

Tell me what you know.

TIA,

John

This is all I'm looking for.

You guys didn't get back to me all day.

I went ahead and bought it.

If I'm dissatisfied, I will blame you, hunt you all down and throw my feces at you!

Reading and posting on exactly that machine. Seems fine for surfing, less so for answering mail and posting. Root that Baby!

Any recommended apps or accessories? I picked up a neoprene sleeve and an easel type case on eBay for cheap.

If you are buying one today, they are on sale at this link

http://1saleaday.com/

Look down the right hand side of the page.  I buy stuff from this web site all the time and have been for a couple years now.

They have the tablet your looking at for 229 dollars.  Just so you know. You will have to buy today as it is a one sale a day site.

They have 18 tablets for sale at amazing prices.

Thanks a ton for that tip, wibornz. Those really were amazing prices. I picked up a 10" Toshiba Thrive for the price of Kindle Fire. Sweet.   Thumbsup
