This Sunday, meet a bit early for coffee at 9:30 am at the Crossroads Coffee House in Cross Plains.  From there, we'll go down the road a few miles to the starting point of the Slimey Crud Run (Pine Bluff).  Folks may continue on to Leland on their own time or head home.

I hope to see you all there!

You might want to give Mary a call and let her know what's going on. She would greatly appreciate the heads up so she can have some more help on hand.

Yep - I'll be calling her tomorrow.  I'm going to say ~10-15 folks.

The radar looks rather depressing.  I am staying home today. Let's hope for better weather in October

Umm, Slimey Crud Run! It hasn't lived up to it's name for awhile, and no snow or sleet, maybe just a little hail?

Tried for coffee, but lightning less than a second apart for a while got me into a kwik trip. They set up a table for our gear and are giving us free coffee while it dumps buckets outside.

Yay adventure!

I eventually made it out, but nobody was at Crossroads and there was about 20% of the normal crud crowd (not surprising!).

Well, here's my Crud Run epic fail.  Lurker and I were headed to Cross Plains to meet Jeff when we were stopped by heavy rain and hail.

http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/bcoley_01/IMAG0058.jpg

We were holed up at an A&W in Edgerton seeking shelter for about an hour and half.

When it seemed to have cleared somewhat, we headed for home.  It was a rain ride all the way.  Oh well,  stuff happens.

Wow, that's crazy.  There wasn't hail here, just large droplets of heavy rain.  Glad you guys got home safe - it was a heck of a storm.

Probably the same storm cell that had me at the Kwik Trip. After it passed and I started off west again it wasn't a bad riding day at all.
