When it seemed to have cleared somewhat, we headed for home. It was a rain ride all the way. Oh well, stuff happens.
Aww, isn't that cute -- you both riding around on the same exact bikes. I bet you both blast this song out of your speakers when you're riding around, don't you?

Cleaning the Crud Run, crud off of the RT.
I got caught in a storm Friday, rode all day in the rain Saturday and hit some more rain tonight and I'm not out there cleaning my bike with a tootbrush.

I got to the coffee joint at 9 . . . . hung up til about 9:45, and, once the hail stopped, tried to dodge thunder boomers on the way back to the lab . . . . . I was entirely unsucessful in that regard, the the Stich kep me dry (although my iPod remote, which is about the size of half a pack of Pall Mall straights, dumped about a tablespoon of water when I opened it up).
After all that water, why is my bike dirtier?

That's because that Yamabeater you ride hardly has any paint left on it. The Mocha Princess must maintain her dignity.

There hasn't been nor will there be a toothbrush used on this poor little thing either.
We had a good time, wet Sunday morning but rode all day Saturday in the dry and Sunday afternoon was pretty nice. Smallest crowd I've seen at both ends, but still a really good day.
More here....

That's because real men ride in the rain and like it. This was last Saturday in east central West Virginia. The intersections of US 219 & WV 39/55 in Mill Point WV.
