I have a 2012 R1200R with the computer.

I'd like to know how to reset the MPG when I get a fresh tank of gas.

So far it's cumulative and as the engine breaks in I'd like to watch the mileage change, it would let me know best what's going on.

Do you have any info on how to do this? The manual is limited in information.

Thanks.  Smile

Get to the MPG display and hold the BC button in for 5-10 seconds?

So new to this, you can tell by the question.

If the BC button is the same as the 'info' button, then yes, that's the correct answer.

I called the dealer and they had an RT in for work and they were able to suss it out to give me the answer.

Thanks for the help. Smile

Hold the BC (Bord Computer) or INFO button down to reset the reading in question.

And congrats on the new RT!   Smile

Just to confirm.

Use the info button to display the mpg
Hold the info button until the display resets
