Here are a few details on this KTM 530 XCR-W - VIN VBKEXA4048M455907
It was purchase new from Nevada Motorcycle Specialties - RENO KTM on 9/17/2007. Within the first 100 miles the owner complained of a hard start problem and KTM authorized the updated cam kit to be installed and they performed a full valve adjust at that time. This was not uncommon and a very important update that has been performed. At the time of purchase the customer had the dealer install the KTM full lighting kit, auxiliary fan kit, quick release skid plate, connected the dual ignition map switch, KTM gpr stabilizer, frame guards and a few more details I am certain I have missed. Over $2000 in KTM add on's!
The owner then moved to OR where he decided to sell the bike in June of 2009 with only 510 miles on it. Second owner (WA resident) purchased it from him and he immediately took it to I-90 to have them go over the bike and set it up for him (newer rider). I-90 performed another major service, put on fresh Michelin Cross Competition tires and re geared it for better low speed manageability.
This bike now has 713 miles on it and is set up perfectly for the NW riding condtions. There are some normal signs of wear and tear which is to be expected. Rear turn signals are drooping and will be replaced and the battery will be 100% or replaced. It is WA plated and has a street legal VIN so no worries about keeping it plated and the clear WA title is in hand.
The owner of this bike is open to trades, maybe a better suited bike for a newer rider or a cool retro/vintage street bike.
Looking at the local market and around the Nation we feel this bikes fair market value is $7000.
