I'm not asking. I'm a'tellin ya.  Once Upon a Time.  I fecking love that show!!! I get visibly angry every Sunday night when the episode ends. I want to jump in and bitch slap Emma and tell her to wake the hell up. And then there is Regina......oh my Regina. I love them hot evil beotches.

I love the way they flashback to the other world and keep the two intertwined.
Just the perfect getaway from all the overdone overrated scripted "reality" shows.

Sorry, I have to say that Big Bang Theory is the best on TV at this time. One of the few shows that actually makes me laugh out loud.

Ah, I see you like the softcore stuff. Lol

Sorry, I have to say that Big Bang Theory is the best on TV at this time. One of the few shows that actually makes me laugh out loud.

BBT used to be so much better.  But the show has morphed in to "The Sheldon Show" (as I call it) and it gets tiring.  I admit that recently they seem to be making an effort to include the other characters.  But Raj is still completely wasted, total throw away character.  Penny is wasted (she's basically Leonard's dumb F buddy).  Leonard is wasted (he's basically Penny's smart F buddy, and someone for Sheldon to abuse).  Howard has his NASA plot line and marriage to Bernadette which is better than nothing I guess.  Then there's the mighty Sheldon, emmy winner, scene stealer, plot stealer, show sealer... Lol

I have to admit I don't have a super favorite TV show on right now.  There's no show on TV that I'm just dieing to see.  We DVR everything an sometimes we don't get to episodes for weeks.  BBT used to be my fav though...just for the record.

I love BBT as much as the next guy, but I don't sit at work for the whole week wondering about next weeks episode. Besides, like others have said, the character development is really lagging.

Henry ate the poisoned apple, and Emma is leaving town. Now Regina knows that only true loves kiss can break the spell, so she will give her son a kiss to wake him. (This is when everyone will start remembering.) But the kiss won't work because she doesnt actually love him. Then Emma will come back, and kiss her son awake because she truly loves him.

I just know everything is going to be OK.

I completely agree that Sheldon should fall down that broken elevator shaft on the show. I actually cringe on occasion when he opens his mouth. Sadly, I know of nothing better, except some of the best Seinfeld reruns, or some of the Two And A Half Men reruns.
One show I enjoy is Antique Road Show. I really enjoy it when somebody buys something at a garage sale, just because they really like it and it's worth many thousands of dollars for their $8.00 investment. Thumbsup

Hardly ever watch TV. I prefer more of the older shows of the 60 and 70's. Most of the newer shows show no class or tact.

EEK! You must be fun at a party  Crazy

Lol  If you can't take a critical look at the entertainment you are consuming...nothing will improve.  The industry will just keep shoveling entertainment offal down our gullets as our eyes glaze over and we hand them our money.  This is why we get shit like Transformers, Twilight, American Idol, The Real Housewives of Derp, and the upcoming Battleship over and over again.

I like BBT, but it has some huge flaws that most people probably don't even see or care about (eyes already glazed over, money outstretched in hand).

I'm sure you feel the same way about things your are passionate about (guns, bullets, oil, chainsaws, beer, cat clubs, mullet extensions, whatever).  If you see something that's veering off in to the weeds I'm sure your critiques also make you the life of the party.

My wife is addicted to Once Upon a Time.  From what I've seen, it's pretty good.

There are three shows I cannot miss during the week (usually watched at my leisure via the DVR):

Top Gear (BBC)

Yep -- I find that, when the TV is on, it's almost always just background noise -- if either or both of us are actully watching, it's more often PBS than nything else . . . .

I watched Big Bang Theory, well, half an episode, one time -- if that's the best thing on TV, so many other things become instantly clear.

Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones
Walking Dead
Justified
The Killing
The League

Breaking Bad is by far the best show on TV, though Game of Thrones is catching up as it progresses.  The League is fucking hilarious, and you don't even have to be that into fantasy sports to enjoy it.

Mad Men you cretins.

As for Big Bang Theory. How could anyone spend time writing analysis on another lame sit-com with a f*cking laugh track? Here is the deciding factor on whether or not a comedy show sucks: Does it have automated laughter?

Yep -- I find that, when the TV is on, it's almost always just background noise -- if either or both of us are actully watching, it's more often PBS than nything else . . . .

I watched Big Bang Theory, well, half an episode, one time -- if that's the best thing on TV, so many other things become instantly clear.

The last show I found somewhat funny was Seinfeld and even that was no Barney Miller. The only show I watch is Madmen. And sports, of course.

Get real guys and ladies, broadcast TV sucks, the 30 minute segments are aimed at people with a low IQ, they even have signs for the audience that says "applause", then the caned laughter follows. Come on guys what can you be thinking, you have an expensive TV and perhaps a home theater system and you watch 50¢ shows. HBO and the other premium channels show the same shit over and over again. Look around there are other choices, A&E, Discovery, History, Travel and others, or try NetFlix Streaming for around 8 bucks a month, this gives you hundreds of choices. I do not work for Netflix but have subscribed to it since 2004, you never run out of new movies.

The only shows that I try to catch every week at Top Shot and Mythbusters. I love BBT and Modern Family, but I prefer to watch them after the seasons are over and I can see every episode right after each other. It keeps the story going for me.

i agree with about half of what you said. but one of the reasons i'm dropping cable is the incredible decline in the quality of programming from A&E, Discovery, History, TLC, etc. Their prime time programming is now 75% reality programming, seriously no better than anything you'll see on MTV or E!.

Hey, remember when MTV had music?

Huge fan of Justified.
Fringe has had some less than stellar episodes but is overall a great choice.
