Yea, my wife was like " you sure you want that one?" lol I think pretty much all the adventure bikes take a little getting used to.

Yea, it's super tall.....until the sales guy comes over and lowers the seat for me.   It's still tall but at least I can reach the ground on both side simultaneously. I have a 32" inseam.

I don't know if I'm getting older or weird-er but those goofy looking Adv. bikes are SERIOUSLY pulling my heart strings now a days.  Lol
I used to think they were the ugliest things on 2 wheels but after my recent test ride on a new Ducati MS It all became PERFECTLY clear as to why anyone would want one. I LOVE the tall stance and roomy ergos on them things. I'm 6'0 w/ a 33" inseam and they just feel like they were made for someone my size. I certainly can't say that for a lot of bikes out there. Add in the good power (That Duc had GREAT power) and handling and they just make SO much sense for a street bike.  Inlove I want one BAD.

That Yamaha is probably one of the best looking ADV bikes out there. Congratulations, you lucky schmuck.  Twofinger

Buy it but do your own add-ons. Everything I saw bolted to the bike from the factory was cheap, light-duty, low-rent stuff.

I test rode a Super Tenere a couple months ago and came VERY close to pulling the trigger on it, but a very low mileage Kaw C-14 dropped in my lap and I couldn't resist. The S10 will definitely be my next bike.

Thanks, glad you left the 'ADV' in that comment. I can honestly appreciate the capabilities of the DL Suzukis but couldn't get over the looks and I put the Tenere in the same catagory. After the test ride I got over it.

I put 360 miles on it last saturday through the Colorado rockies...it's just a great all around bike. I was riding with an FJR pilot so no dirt roads. At 575lbs wet it's a little heavy for anything more than fire roads.

Rgbeard, still waiting on the glasses from Oakley...there in the mail?

Blake and Justin, gotta ride brutha's! You too farson, mybe I'll start checking my email more now that it's almost summer.

I fell in love with Adv bikes as soon as I test rode my Uly.  There are like SUVs with Sports Car handling.  I smile everytime I get on it.

The S10 is sexy!  Inlove
