Finding love in the CO mountains

Two weeks ago some friends and I took a 3 day, 1760 mile trip down to New Mexico and Arizona.

I don't get to take too many pictures for a ride report since we were covering 500-600+ miles per day but I did bring my GoPro.

Here's two videos - The first shows our only encounter with local LEO which was pretty cool. The deputy is a fellow sportbike rider and let us (specifically me) go without a ticket. First video starts off in Colorado on the million dollar highway between Silverton and Ouray, CO.

I can't wait to go back later this year all though this time I'll just push to Alpine, AZ on day 1 (630ish miles) so I can spend 1-2 full days riding the trail over and over. 1100 corners in 94 miles Smile

Oh that's just BEAUTIFUL!  Thumbsup Love the encounter LEO.

I was headed to Alpine AZ a couple of years ago but had to change the trip plan. US191 is still high on my list of roads I want to ride.
