I don't know what routes your taking but rt5 from Bernardston Ma to Brattleboro Vt. has all been repaved. Great motorcycle road. Also rt 63 from Northfield Ma to Hinsdale NH is nice as well. Lot's of twisties. You can get to Brattleboro from Hinsdale on rt 119 heading west.
Absolutely the best place for breakfast in the area is Rooster's Bistro on Main st in Northfield. MA. Stay away from Chelsea Royal in W Brattleboro unless you like waiting for a table and overpriced food. Have fun.

Yesterday I got a call from my dental hygienist reminding me of my appointment today. I took my mom out for lunch after and did some home theater system wiring. I'm sure that Vermont was nice. If anyone was going along, I would have rescheduled my appointment. NEXT TIME!! |

My plan for this Thursday was to head to The Connecticut Valley Tobacconist in Hazard CT, ride around the Barkhamsted reservoir, grab a coffee in that neck of the woods and head home. It's a nice area and more in your direction if your interested. Are you a cigar guy? |

I'll look you up next time. Plan B, head up to Morrisville Vermont and tour (and taste) the Rock Art Brewery. Years ago I stopped at a pub while snowmobiling up there and had some Rock Art and loved it. They have many varieties, but I don't recall what I had. Guess I have to try them all to see  Looking at a 600 mile loop. Enjoy the region 4 outing!!! |
