The snake bite happened, apparently.
But was it really an accident, or a staged shake down to come?....

Kinda weird the first Dr missed the bite.  Hmm.

Snake bites in stores are rare, but for some reason there are several cases of Wal-Mart customers being bitten by the slithery reptiles.

Who would have suspected that so many lawyers hung out at Walmarts?

I would guess that the Dr didn't miss the bite, he just didn't think the snake actually injected venom.  Rattlesnakes envenomate about 75% of the time.  Signs of envenomation should show up in about 10 minutes.  In the absence of any swelling maybe the doctor thought it was just a bite?

A fellow customer quickly drove Clark to a nearby urgent care center

WTF?  A guy gets bit.  He is bleeding.  And a random stranger offers to drive him to urgent care?  Yeah, I let lots of unknown bleeding people ride in my car.  And I know our urgent care maintains plenty of antivenin right next to the necrotizing fasciitis treatment kit they use all the time.  That sentence right there pegs my suspicion index.
