Man bitten by snake at Walmart...

The snake bite happened, apparently.
But was it really an accident, or a staged shake down to come?....
Kinda weird the first Dr missed the bite. Hmm.
Quote
“It bit me, and I started screaming,” said Clark, who managed to shake the creature loose. “I did a tap dance on it and got it killed,” he said.
A fellow customer quickly drove Clark to a nearby urgent care center, where he was referred to a hospital. The hospital, however, initially sent him home after an emergency room physician concluded the snake had not injected any venom

Rattle snake venom, while easily treated, is nothing to mess around with. Fleshy necrosis sucks.

Well, he had a tricked-out, loose-chain R6 to get them home.

I've been bit by a rattle snake while Prairie dog hunting. Not much fun!

I would not be surprised if it is not a plant for a lawsuit. Snakes like to hide in log piles, stone walls, and such, and a warm pile of mulch bags on a pallet would be attractive to one. Not much Walmart could have done to stop it. But if I were the victim, I'd sure as heck sue that first doctor who sent me home with no care.

This guys was interviewed on the radio here in Seattle. The first thing he had to tell everyone was "I have a license to grow medical MJ, etc..." which has nothing to do with story. He could have just said "I was there picking up some fertilizer, when..."
The interviewer just laughed because it was clear this gomer has some agenda.

Came out of my local, suburban Lowe's last week to find an approx. 4' snake (unk. type) slithering across the parking lot near my car...I was not amused.

I have nothing to add...except that, when I looked at the linked LA Times page, I found these two articles linked at the bottom of the page to be MUCH more interesting:
A Catholic high school team refuses to play with a team which has a girl on it. Really? Afraid of girl germs?
http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-girl-baseball-team-20120514,0,7914881.story
Police suspect a serial killer might be impersonating an officer, pulling people over to shoot them...they suggest calling 911 to confirm that yes, the cop following with his lights on really IS a cop (not really viable for motorcyclists...and I wonder what the cop's gonna say anyway, after following someone with lights on for ten minutes while they make a call on their phone, while driving--is that legal in Mississippi?):

I would guess that the Dr didn't miss the bite, he just didn't think the snake actually injected venom. Rattlesnakes envenomate about 75% of the time. Signs of envenomation should show up in about 10 minutes. In the absence of any swelling maybe the doctor thought it was just a bite?

WTF? A guy gets bit. He is bleeding. And a random stranger offers to drive him to urgent care? Yeah, I let lots of unknown bleeding people ride in my car. And I know our urgent care maintains plenty of antivenin right next to the necrotizing fasciitis treatment kit they use all the time.
That sentence right there pegs my suspicion index.
