I enjoyed a great ride from Old Lyme CT. to Sturbridge MA. today.
156-82-395 (for 5 minutes to get past Norwich) -169-197-198, back roads to home.
Stopped by The Vanilla Bean for the first time. I can definitely see the attraction.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 'sick day' from work but I do have to say that I enjoy the weekday rides when there are not hoards of bikes all wanting to say hi.

Did you find your way to We-Lik-It ice cream stand in Abbington on 197 for a Bob Melke-shake?
I missed hooking up with Todd and Scott but I had a blast heading out early and having all the back roads to myself.
A sweet 3 hr ride on a freshly tuned Sprint ST is truly a gift from the gods (or ancient aliens).

Gerry, you missed an awesome ride up to Niantic. Weather couldn't have been better, and the pace was perfect. You missed a guy riding his dog around on his Harley. I'm kicking myself in the ass for not taking a picture.

Next time.
Getting ready for trip up to Bennington, VT to the Triumph Bash (but all bikes welcome) 6/1 - 6/3.
Leaving on thur. 5/31 along with Eric (Gaps) and his wife.

I was sailing out of Westbrook. Took the Jeep instead of the bike.
I have to keep an eye on Reg 6. I need to stretch the Triumph's legs a little. 4.5 mile commute back and forth from work just isn't cutting it lately.

There's a couple of us that have been trying to stay active, things kind of happen last minute though. You should try my 45 minute commute. I usually get out of work and ride for another hour before I head home.

Another reason to by a triumph!
Had a great ride with Scotty. Sorry we missed you Gerry. ahhhhhhh....so many roads, so little time. Let's get a gang load an head out. I'm headed up to LimeRock this weekend in the cage if its nice. It's an incredible time watching the ol' trans am cars run. Vets are free but not submariners.

You're more than welcome to come along next time. Gerry runs a sprint so that sometthing you guys have in common. Do any fishing yet this year or do you only cruise? Last year wasa good year but I never made it out so I'm hoping this year follows suit.

Sunday is no race day because of an old blue law. They will have a static car show that day. Racing on Friday and Saturday only. This is NOT the historic car races that I thought it would be. That will be Labor Day. They will be running current Trans Am, Formula, Sports Car classes.
