What a nice thing to say
She's taken very good care of me for longer than she'd like me to admit . . . .seems only fair that I attempt to repay that karmic debt.
I vote we move the party to Bombers so they can enjoy it too!!!!!

Looks like I"m gonna take a pass on this gathering, Clay -- I'll pass a flask on to Ed or Dan to stand in my place ;-}
I'll bring some good bourbon or scotch in your name. Was looking forward to the ride with you. Hopefully OMB will be feeling better and you'll change your mind. Did I mention I was considering just riding home that night after the BBQ? You wouldn't be alone if you wanted to ride home that afternoon/evening.

bomber- That's a bummer, but I totally understand.
Take care of her. One of these days I might just ride around the lake to shake your hand and see the entropy lab.

Looks like he's already found the liquor cabinet.
In his defense, he didn't have to look very hard. We sorta have a shrine to alcohol in our kitchen. Most people put baking stuff on their baker's racks; ours holds all our hooch and commemorative wine and pint glasses. I'm surprised he started with the miniatures!
He tried getting into the cookies before I boxed them up yesterday. He's so sneaky!!!
