1800 miles later we rolled into the garage about half an hour ago.  Oscar the wonder pooch was happy to see us, so in that regard it's good to be home.

Thanks to Clay and his family for all they did to put this shin-dig together.  It was nice to finally meet a lot of you for the first time.  It was also good to see some of the meet regulars there as well.

Also need to thank Clay for the hospitality.  Wish I could have stayed longer, but I needed to head home to see my family as they had been out of town since Thursday.  Great to get some faces to the names and to reacquaint with the ones I've met in the past.  And the grub was awesome. Still don't understand why the donation jar wasn't called the 'kitty.'

Hope the bourbon made it around the camp fire, and I'm sorry I wasn't there to down it with you.  Although I didn't make it into any pictures, and didn't think about taking any myself, at least my bike made it into one!  Awesome time Clay - thanks to you and your family again.

Nope, contacts. It really wasn't that bad. The Soo wasn't bad either.

It's always the one you're not expecting that gets you though.

The bridge over The St. Lawrence Seaway into Ogdensburg was just that one.  Crazy

Go to nmdualsport.org and look at the Ride Reports for "Deming to Silver City Ride" and the other one on the "Monticello Box" by Jeff Angstman. They have some good film footage of what the riding is like. Hey, I always have a place for you to stay and ride. My buddy Dan also runs an ADV hostel in Las Cruces all the time. We get plenty of visitors from everywhere. All you need is a bike....
